OVERMARSH LABRADORS

September 2007 Name: Wendy Manning Occupation: Retired police officer Location: North Wales Favourite breed and why: Labrador. I was brought up with them as a child. In fact I have a picture of one when I was about 4 years old with him sitting on a chair and I was painting his toenails with red nail varnish!! The Labrador is a dog for all persons; their temperament is superb and they are such a loving companion/breed. My first dog: My first Labrador, which I had of my own, was when I got married. Max, a black lad, who was bred on show and working lines. I did Obedience with him and also showed him. He had such a handsome head, so much so that he was featured on keys rings that you get to depict different breeds. My canine ambition: To breed a champion in the show ring, and to gain his or her full title by passing his or her gundog working test.
